Among the flora, there are also holm oaks, Turkey oaks, hornbeams, willows, poplars, and alders. It is also possible to access the banks of the Farfa River from the town of Mompeo, where you can admire the gorges through which the torrent flows. Once on the bank, the path runs along the stream, becoming increasingly slender. To reach the gorge, you can cross an ancient bridge and take CAI Path 312 (for expert hikers only), or follow the confluence with the Montenero Stream, passing the ruins of the water mill known as Mola Naro Patrizi.
